Types of bills:

Private Bill:

It can be introduced by any member of Parliament other than a minister, its introduction in the house requires one month prior notice.

Public Bill:

It can be introduced only by a minister, Its introduction requires 7 days notice.

Money Bill:

A bill is money bill if it relates to Tax borrowings of money by union govt, consolidated fund of India or Contingency fund of India.

Finance Bill:

Any bill dealing with revenue and expenditure, but not certified as money bill by the speaker.

Constitutional Amendment Bill:

These bills are meant to amend the constitution through article 368.

Ordinary Bill:

All the Bills other than Finance bills, Money Bills and Constitutional Amendment Bills are Ordinary Bills.
